Terms and Conditions

Terms built around the product that is actually in the codebase.

These terms are drafted for Closette as an Austrian and GDPR-aware AI wardrobe service operated by Knightify FlexCo, and they reflect the implemented features in the current application: accounts, premium subscriptions, wardrobe uploads, AI-assisted tagging and styling, weather-aware recommendations, private sharing, inspiration posts, contact requests, and personal-data tools.

Legal Details

Effective date: April 2, 2026

1. Scope and service

Closette is a private wardrobe and styling service. The current application allows users to create an account, manage wardrobe items, perfumes, and accessories, receive AI-supported wardrobe analysis and styling suggestions, maintain weather and style preferences, save looks, use a premium stylist chat, share selected collections with invited users, and create inspiration posts and boards.

These Terms apply to the website, progressive web app, authenticated application areas, APIs, and premium features operated under the Closette brand. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the service on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that business.

2. Accounts and access

You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials confidential. Certain features require a verified email address, and security features such as password reset, email verification, and two-factor authentication are part of the implemented service.

You are responsible for activity under your account unless caused by our breach of duty. You must not share credentials, bypass access controls, interfere with the service, or use the service for unlawful purposes.

3. Your content and permissions

You retain your rights in the images, notes, wardrobe metadata, shared collections, comments, and inspiration content you upload or create. To operate the service, you grant us a non-exclusive, limited, revocable license to host, copy, process, store, display, and transmit that content solely as necessary to provide, secure, improve, moderate, and support the service.

If you share a collection, send an invite, comment in a shared collection, or publish an inspiration post, you instruct us to display that content to the users or administrators who need access for that feature. You must have the rights and permissions necessary for any content you upload or share, including content containing third-party personal data.

4. AI-supported features

Closette currently uses AI-supported image analysis, style-signature generation, outfit refinement, daily look generation, recommendation feedback, and conversational stylist features. These functions help classify wardrobe items, suggest styling directions, and generate grounded outfit recommendations based on your stored wardrobe, preferences, weather context, recent history, and the ratings you give to suggested collections.

AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or subjective. You remain responsible for reviewing AI-generated tags, edits, outfit suggestions, and style guidance before relying on them. The service is intended for wardrobe organization and styling assistance only and is not professional fashion, medical, legal, or financial advice.

5. Acceptable use

  • You may not upload unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, or malicious content.
  • You may not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt the service.
  • You may not use the service to profile or expose other people without a lawful basis.
  • You should not upload special-category personal data unless you have a clear legal basis and the feature genuinely requires it.

6. Sharing, moderation, and suspension

The implemented product includes private shared collections with permission levels, invite acceptance, commenting, and access revocation. It also includes inspiration posts that may be visible to other eligible users and subject to moderation controls in the administrative interface.

We may remove content, restrict sharing features, or suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, moderation, unpaid charges, or material breach of these Terms. Where appropriate, we will take a proportionate approach and may provide notice.

7. Premium subscriptions and billing

Closette offers a free tier and premium subscription features. In the current codebase, billing and subscription management are handled through Stripe via Laravel Cashier, including checkout, recurring subscription handling, and access to the billing portal. The public pricing information and the in-app billing page reflect the current feature scope. This includes free-plan limits for wardrobe capacity, AI credits, and daily look generation, as well as higher premium limits for daily looks and regenerations, unlimited wardrobe storage, unlimited AI-supported drafting and import activity, inspiration recreation, and private stylist chat.

Where the product displays a daily look or regeneration allowance, that allowance is membership-based and may also include user-specific manual adjustments made by administrators for support, goodwill, testing, or operational reasons. A regenerated look counts against the same daily allowance unless expressly stated otherwise in the product.

Paid subscriptions renew according to the billing interval you choose unless cancelled through the billing portal or otherwise terminated. Fees, taxes, and payment terms are shown at checkout. Premium access may depend on Stripe confirming payment and subscription status. Refunds or credits are only available where required by mandatory law or expressly offered by the operator.

If you are a consumer, your mandatory rights under applicable consumer law, including Austrian consumer law where applicable, remain unaffected. Where immediate performance of a digital service begins during the statutory withdrawal period, any legally required information, confirmations, and acknowledgements should be presented in the checkout flow used in production.

8. Availability and product changes

We may change, improve, pause, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary to maintain security, performance, legal compliance, or product quality. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability, although we aim to operate the service with reasonable care.

9. Intellectual property

The service, its software, layouts, branding, design elements, and non-user content remain our property or the property of our licensors. Except as permitted by mandatory law, you may not copy, distribute, modify, decompile, or commercially exploit the service beyond its intended use.

10. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is not permitted by law, especially for intent, gross negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, personal injury, or mandatory consumer claims. Subject to that, liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.

Because the service includes AI-supported classification and recommendation functions, we do not warrant that generated outputs are always complete, accurate, or suitable for every purpose.

11. Privacy

The processing of personal data in connection with the service is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of the legal framework for using Closette.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Austrian law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer residing in the EEA, mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected to the extent required by law.

For disputes with entrepreneurs, legal entities under public law, or special funds under public law, the competent court at the operator’s registered seat in Austria shall have exclusive jurisdiction unless mandatory law provides otherwise. Consumer jurisdiction rules remain unaffected.
